As the first UI lead recruited by IG Wealth Management, I had the privilege of spearheading their UI design efforts through a comprehensive process of system establishment and redesign. This endeavor laid a strong foundation for implementing the best practices in UI. My approach focused on enhancing client interactions by establishing core principles, guiding deliverables, and cultivating thought leadership. I developed branding strategies to elevate PWM advisors and ensured a unified voice across IG digital platforms while adhering to AODA compliance standards.

By implementing a user-centered design methodology, we collaboratively crafted a user-friendly digital repository for client documents, resulting in reduced physical copies and enhanced communication. This led to an exceptionally engaging user experience that surpassed the expectations of both clients and advisors.

This process instilled confidence in the IG Wealth Management Digital Marketing Team, improving their business perception and increased engagement with UI on the business side. As team leader, I successfully implemented UX&UI standards within the parent company, IGM. I led the creation of Mackenzie Investments' first design system, driving the redesign and development of their digital landscape.

As the lead designer for one of the top financial institutions, I was in charge for overseeing the allocation and management of third-party vendors tasked with developing sections of the website dedicated to providing customers with tools to accomplish their financial objectives. I played a crucial role in creating global products that were utilized across all lines of business by collaborating closely with fellow team members to design and develop internal business systems.

Our RBC surface project was showcased in Microsoft's Keynote as a highlight of their surface device. As the UI lead, I took charge of the entire project lifecycle, from gathering requirements to delivering the final UI design. Through collaborative efforts with clients and teams to conduct requirement gathering sessions, resulting in the production of wireframes, user interface design, and interaction designs for esteemed clients including Alliance Pipeline, Bank of America, Gatorade, Jumeirah, Microsoft, DNC, RNC, RBC, and Travelport. I provided proof of concepts for esteemed institutions such as Deutsche Bank, Humana, and M&T Bank, among others. As a design consultant for EDS on the American Airlines project, I contributed valuable expertise and leadership.
